"New students, transfer students, and especially
returning students were met with a different sort of TU than what they had
known in the past. Changes were evident everywhere. New turf,
new deans, and new academic policies were just a few of the changes on
campus. A new basketball coach and a winning football team were
welcome changes in the athletic department. College life at TU seems
to mean change. Some were welcome changes, while others were harder
