Students in '23 had spirit--"The Peptiacs" was the
largest organization on campus. This was also the year of the active
student. With over twenty clubs on campus, "There is some club or
society in which each student can take an active part no matter what the
inclination may be." Also this year, the TU Tigers became the TU
Golden Hurricane. |
||
Sports Snapshot TU football came back into her own, and once more won the championship of the state and southwest, and for the first time, was referred to as "The Golden Hurricane". Though tennis has always been popular at TU, since there was no baseball or track teams this year, tennis was even more popular than ever before. |
