On February 8, 1921, Henry Kendall College
officially became The University of Tulsa. Leaders from around the
state were present for the historic Charter Day ceremonies. Our
sports teams were particularly successful, and the annual Hobo Day was one
of the favorite days of the year. |

Sports Snapshot The basketball team won 17 of their 18 games. Varsity football had another undefeated season, and established another high score record for the United States: |
