LIBCAT: Libraries Outside the United States

"English speaking researchers will be at ease searching the online catalogs of Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom and its former possessions. However, most of the online catalogs in this section do not offer an English interface. For many it is a wonderful opportunity to use newly acquired or long forgotten language skills; for others it is an insurmountable obstacle. Friends, colleagues, and library staff may be able to help. The best time to make a connection is when the foreign library is open but not in heavy use locally - easier said than done. Generally, try to avoid searching on the weekend because many systems are not available."
