I am mailing to you a letter which is self explanatory, and which was sent through this office with request from the Hon. Commissioner to the Five Civilized Tribes; that the same be sent to you with request that you take early action in complying with the requirements of law, as set out in enclosed letter.

Haskell, Oklahoma.

Dear Sir:-

June 22nd 1908, I addressed to you a letter requesting you to make an inventory of all papers and records or other property in your custody or control and forward the same to Hon. J. George Wright, Commissioner to the Five Civilized Tribes, at Muskogee, Oklahoma.

I am again in receipt of a communication making the same request, under date of Aug. 12, 1909, copy of which is herewith enclosed,. I am under the impression that you complied with the first request direct to the Commissioner. If you did so, and have a copy of your report, please supply the Commissioner with a copy of said report, affixing your affidavit to same. If you have nothing in your possession, make statement to this effect and affix affidavit.
