Processing

Processing is one of the most important departments for the smooth functioning of the library. The staff that work here are responsible for cataloging all the materials the library receives. In addition they prepare the books and other items for placement on the library's shelves (e.g. typing spine labels, etc.).

Though not usually visible to the public, the Processing staff plays a critical role in enabling McFarlin to provide library services to the TU community.
