SPE eLibrary

The SPE now allows access to their eLibrary for off-campus users.  To search and download from the SPE eLibrary you must create a login and password from an on campus computer. 

To register for the first time, click here to go to their web site, click on "New User Registration," fill out the form, and submit the information.

Once you have established a login and password you may click here to log in and use the eLibrary from any computer anywhere by going to the web site and logging in.

Please be aware that the SPE requires your login from an on campus computer every 14 days in order to maintain your off site access to the SPE eLibrary.  If your access is not recognized please register again from an on campus computer.  This only applies to off-campus access; once registered, your on campus login and password will be continually recognized.

 Once you are registered, the documents will be available for free.

To download articles from SPE, follow the directions below (provided by SPE):

• Select the paper(s) you are interested in and add them to your cart.
• When you have finished adding papers to your cart, click on either the "View Cart" or "Checkout" tabs.
• Click on "Member/Subscriber Checkout."
• You will now see the page requesting first name, last name, and email address (you should not see anything asking for credit card information).
• You will also see a statement informing you that your subscription has been applied.
• Fill in the fields and click "Continue."
• You will now see the confirmation page, check the box that acknowledges the copyright and limitations of use, and complete your order.
• You will now see the Receipt page.
• Proceed to the Downloads page if you desire.
