"The database contains over eight million bibliographic records taken from 3,500 scientific and technical journals and 1,500 conference proceedings. Approximately 330,000 new records are added to the database annually."

"Online coverage is from 1969 to the present, and records are updated weekly. Inspec is produced by the Institution of Electrical Engineers."
