Annual Survey of Manufacturers: Provides "detailed annual statistics on the location, activities, and products of U.S. manufacturers. ... Basic data obtained include kind of business, location, ownership, value of shipments, payroll and employment. Additional data collected include cost of materials, inventories, new capital expenditures, fuel and energy costs, hours worked and payroll supplements."

National Center for Education Statistics: "The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) collects statistics on the condition of education in the United States, analyzes and reports the meaning and significance of these statistics, and assists states and local education agencies in improving their statistical systems."

American FactFinder: American FactFinder provides users "with the capability to browse, search, and map data from many Census Bureau sources: the 1990 Census, the 1997 Economic Census, the American Community Survey and the Census 2000 Dress Rehearsal. In early 2001, the data from Census 2000 will be available in American FactFinder."

Eurostat: "Eurostat is one of the Directorates-General of the European Commission. It's mission is to provide the European Union with a high-quality statistical information service."

FedStats: "More than 70 agencies in the United States Federal Government produce statistics of interest to the public. The Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy maintains this site to provide easy access to the full range of statistics and information produced by these agencies for public use."

Statistical Abstract of the United States: Not the complete work, this online version of the Abstract does include many of the most heavily requested tables, as well as state and county profiles, state rankings, economic indicators, and more.
